In the 1970's and the 1980's Martin produced a world beating range of great instruments delivering a powerful quality voice, classic good looks and well thought out construction. This Sigma 12 string guitar is part of the very latest sigma and provides a superb performing instrument for a very affordable price. We highly recommend this DM12-1ST to any player looking for a first 12 string or for those looking for a 12 string to record with that will not break the bank.
This sigma DM12-1ST 12 string guitar features a solid spruce top and Mahogany back and sides construction. A classic D14 fret dreadnought body size is adopted as this is generally regarded as providing the best tone and performance for 12 sting instruments. Unlike many other 12 string acoustic guitars this Sigma has a playable 1 7/8 nut size with a very comfortable Mahogany neck. With a Bone nut and an Indian rosewood fingerboard we feel that this instrument provides some remarkable specifications for such an impressive price range.
