Legendary Jazzbox, with a Twist
The Gibson Custom ES-175 with Bigsby hollowbody electric guitar serves up the rich, sultry tones you can only get from a '50s Gibson "jazzbox," but this one's packing a couple of surprises. Introduced in 1949 as an innovative solution to amplifying archtop guitars, the ES-175 features a three-ply maple body, Florentine cutaway. mahogany neck, and bound rosewood fingerboard, but this one's sporting P-94 pickups - a first since the 1950s. And never before has the ES-175 come with a factory-installed Bigsby. Better grab the unique Gibson Custom ES-175 with Bigsby while you can.

Gibson Custom's commitment to quality
When you pick up the Gibson Custom ES-175 with Bigsby hollowbody, you're holding one of the most definitive jazz guitars money can buy. In fact, the ES-175 is so popular with players worldwide, that it's one of the few Gibson models that has been in constant production since its introduction in 1949. The combination of vibrant, organic tones, and exceptional playability, make the ES-175 with Bigsby a guitar you'll treasure for a lifetime.
Vintage-voiced pickups and period-correct appointments
Dual P-94 single-coil pickups give the ES-175 with Bigsby the punch and clarity of Gibson's legendary pickups. And the bridge pickup is reverse-wound, so the middle position is fully hum-cancelling. Another vintage appointment is the adjustable, compensated rosewood bridge, which was created using original tools from the '50s. However, one thing you won't find on vintage ES-175s is a factory-installed Bigsby vibrato. That was a feature you had to have retrofitted.
Gibson Custom's commitment to quality
Gibson's Custom Shop took extra care with every detail of the ES-175 with Bigsby. Every Gibson Custom guitar receives an ultra-precise Plek Pro setup, which optimizes the fretboard and nut for incredibly accurate intonation and a "just right" feel. And little touches like the adjustable rosewood bridge and the 17-degree headstock angle not only add to the amazing tone and feel, they remain true to the ES-175 with Bigsby as well as Gibson's history.
