The Ibanez S420-BBS is another model from the S series that was introduced in 1987. The Ibanez S420-BBS features a carved mahogany body that produces an excellent, resonant tone, in spite of being so light-weight. The 3-piece maple neck of the Ibanez S420-BBS is very fast and offers great playability and is fitted with a rosewood fingerboard. The Ibanez S420-BBS is equipped with two humbuckers that are very versatile, thanks to the 5-way switch. The ZR tremolo system of the Ibanez S420-BBS is very smooth and tuning stable.
