The Palmer PAN04A 2-channel DI box allows you to feed the unbalanced hi-Z signals of electric instruments to the microphone inputs of a mixer. It delivers a transformer balanced lo-Z signal at the outputs and helps eliminate hum and interference caused by ground loops. The active circuitry preserves frequency response and provides increased dynamics. The unit also features a 1/4” direct out and switchable -30 dB pad on each channel. An additional balanced XLR output merges both input signals to mono, e.g. for summing the L and R channels of a stereo instrument. With its tough construction, the PAN04A is equally suitable for stage and studio use. It operates on any standard polarity 9 - 24 V DC power adapter or phantom power when two of the outputs are connected to a mixer.
